A music revolutionist extraordinarily talented and passionate about his work, with a high level of creativity and no fear to play with new mixes and sounds, Mike Shinoda, also co-founder of Linkin Park and founder of Fort Minor, was born in 1977, is a multi-instrumentalist, musician, singer, rapper, music producer and graphic designer, with a long trajectory in the musical industry.

Based on genres like nu metal, alternative rock, alternative metal, hip hop, hard rock, rap, rap rock and electronic rock, Mike fuses many elements into his personal music project, collaborations and productions.

Mike developed his love for music since young encouraged by his mom, going through styles like jazz, blues and hip hop, eventually adding guitar and rap. In 1999, Linkin Park was born starting Shinoda’s professional music career. Then, in 2004 he created the hip hop/rap side project Fort Minor, a way to explore deeper his love for the rap style. Mike decided to go soloist and released in 2018 an EP entitled “Post Traumatic” and some months later the LP version of it, including a deluxe edition with 18 tracks. A year later his emotionally touching single “fine” came out.

During quarantine in 2020 Mike went into a creative growth path by streaming in the platform Twitch while making music with the feedback of the viewers and fans, the result of this refreshing and modern way to extend horizons is a multi-album project, divided in 3 volumes, all of them released in 2020 under the names “Dropped Frames Vol. 1” (12 tracks), “Dropped Frames Vol. 2” (12 tracks) and “Dropped Frames Vol. 3” (14 tracks). The whole project is based in many kinds of sounds and influences, from Japanese and videogames sounds to electro and grunge beats, a rich variety that pleases the eardrums as food to palate. 

Mike’s most recent single released in 2021 “Happy Endings” (featuring iann dior and UPSAHL) is a total blast of feelings. With a desire to create more substantial music and to spread a message of depth reality, has now a path to height his own name and work, higher than it currently is.
