Maison Klaus

Five musicians gather around the former singer of Magma. Their only desire: To play jubilation, without hindrance, without career plan, with as a fixed idea the complicity between “blue note” and “groove”. The group “Maison Klaus” was created in September 1996 by the singer Klaus Blasquiz (Magma, Odeurs, Paga …) and bassist Laurent Cokelaere (Coketale, Verbeke, Milteau …). These two musicians already played together previously in “The Great Blues Band” “1989-1995), which released a CD at New Rose in 1992. For this project, they are joined by Pierre Chereze on guitar (Higelin, Khaled, Gwendal …), Eric Lafont on drums (Hantson, Gotainer, Milteau …) and Eric Seva on saxophones (Lockwood, Paga, STS …). 2009 and after the departure of Pierre Chérèze and Eric Seva, Benoît Widemann with the keyboards and Jean-Michel Kajdan with the guitar, joined the group In 2013, new formula with Denis Leloup on the trombone.
