Laouni Mouhid, alias La Fouine, was born in 1981. He grew up in Trappes, a Paris suburb. In 2003, after making a name for herself on the rap scene thanks to a freestyle on the mixtape Violences Urbaines, La Fouine signed with Sony.
At the same time, he also became a mediator in the sensitive areas of his city. His first album on this label reflects this experience; Bourré au Son, released in 2005, is a street album, with pop hooks, powerful lyrics and a note of hope. His second album, Aller-Retour, in 2007 is a mischievous and confident album. There is the single “Qui peut me stopper?”, ranked in the top 20 sales. by Caspar Salmon
