Gaël Faye

Born in Burundi in 1982, French-Rwandan singer-songwriter and rapper Gaël Faye, who has fled to France since 1995 to escape the genocide in Rwanda, appears on the French music scene with Milk Coffee and Sugar with Edgar Sekloka before delivering his first solo album in 2013, Pili Pili on a butter croissant. Warmly received by critics and winning the Prix de l’Académie CharlesCros des lycéens, Faye’s career is illustrated in the documentary
