Fabien begins the clarinet at the age of seven, then drums at seventeen at the school “Dante Agostini” in Bordeaux. With his father musician he will play regularly in various Jazz formations.
He attended the Los Angeles Musician Institute in 1989 and met Joe Porcaro, Efrain Toro and Ralph Humphrey. He returned to his promotion with the “Outstanding Student of the Year” diploma.
Back in France, he went on tour for 2 years in Europe, and to the U.S.A with Bireli Lagrène.
He also works with Jacques Higelin, Hélène Segara, I Muvrini, Manau, Richard Gotainer, Judith Bérard, Véronique Rivière, Les Etoiles, J.J Milteau, Sébastien Wild, Le Soleil, Jenifer, Laurent Voulzy, Tété, Izia. He ensures the rhythm on the 2012 tour of Bénabar.
He accompanies (in the orchestra of Guy Delacroix) various artists in programs of variety of type “the bastards” or “In search of the New Star”.
He recorded for: Anna Torroja (Mecano), Chico of the Gypsy Kings, Francis Lalanne, I Muvrini, Chris Lancry, Coketale, Manau, Nolwen, Laurent Voulzy…
